Application Terms of Use – BeDuo

Welcome to  BeDuo! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the rules for using our mobile application (“Application”). By using the Application, you accept the provisions of the Terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the Application.

1. Account creation and user responsibilities

1.1 Account information

To use the full functionality of the Application, you must create an account by providing  name, email address and  password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.

1.2 User conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or the rights of third parties.

• Publish offensive, inappropriate content or content violating good customs.

• Take actions that disrupt the operation or security of the Application.

2. Application functions and user content

2.1 Purpose of the Application

BeDuo is a household chore management application that enables partners to organize tasks and engage in light competition.

2.2 Voice comments

The application allows recording and adding  voice comments. This function requires granting permission to access the microphone. You retain full rights to any content recorded by you.

2.3 License to use content

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, revocable license to store and display it solely for the purpose of operating the Application.

3. Account deletion and data processing

3.1 Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the Application settings.

3.2 Data deletion

After deleting the account:

• Your personal data (name, e-mail, password) will be deleted from the active database.

• All submitted content, including voice comments, will be deleted from active systems.

3.3 Backups

Backups may store your data for a maximum of  30 days from the moment of account deletion. They are not used for operational purposes.

4. Changes to the Application

We may make changes, updates, or terminate the Application at any time. We are not liable for any interruptions or modifications.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Polish law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of the Application.

6. Applicable law

The Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of  Poland. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent Polish courts.
