This Privacy Policy describes the rules for processing the data of users of the mobile application  BeDuo and the website  ontrestudio.pl.

1. What data we collect

In connection with the use of the BeDuo application and the website, we may collect the following data:

a) Data provided by the user
  • e-mail address,
  • data provided during registration and logging in,
  • information provided voluntarily by the user,
  • content of messages sent to us by e-mail or via the contact form, if available.
b) Technical data and data collected automatically
  • information about the mobile device or browser,
  • operating system,
  • technical identifiers,
  • IP address,
  • diagnostic data,
  • information on how the application is used,
  • error and crash reports.
c) Voice recordings and microphone access

The application may request access to  the microphone solely to enable the user to record voice content as part of the application's functionality.
Microphone access is used only when the user consciously activates the recording function.

Application  does not use location or  camera, unless clearly indicated in future updates to the privacy policy.

2. Purposes of data processing

Data may be processed for the purpose of:

  • creation and maintenance of the user account,
  • enabling login and registration,
  • providing application functions,
  • storing and managing user-generated content,
  • communication with the user,
  • providing technical support,
  • improving the quality and performance of the application,
  • analysis of application performance and usage statistics,
  • detecting errors, crashes, and technical problems,
  • ensuring the security of services,
  • establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims,
  • fulfillment of obligations resulting from legal provisions.

3. Legal basis for data processing

If the processing of data is subject to GDPR regulations, the data is processed on the basis of:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – when processing is necessary for the provision of services and user account management,
  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – on the basis of user consent, if required,
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – on the basis of the legitimate interest of the administrator, in particular in the field of security, analytics, statistics, and defense of claims,
  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – if processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation.

4. Firebase and third-party services

The application may use services provided by third parties, in particular by  Google Firebase, to the extent necessary for the application's operation, user account management, infrastructure maintenance, analytics, and error diagnostics.

Depending on the features used, these services may include:

  • Firebase Authentication – for user login and registration,
  • Firebase Analytics – for analyzing application usage,
  • Firebase Crashlytics – for reporting crashes and errors,
  • other technical services supporting the application's operation.

Third parties may process user data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable laws.

5. Advertisements

Application  The BeDuo application does not currently display advertisements and does not use user data for advertising purposes.

If advertising features are implemented in the application in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

6. Data sharing

Data may be shared only with entities cooperating with the administrator, if it is necessary for the operation of the application and the website, in particular:

  • cloud service providers,
  • analytical service providers,
  • authentication service providers,
  • hosting providers,
  • error monitoring and security tool providers,
  • entities authorized on the basis of legal provisions.

We do not sell users' personal data.

7. Data retention period

Data are stored for the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected, in particular:

  • for the duration of having a user account,
  • for the time necessary to provide the services,
  • until the account is deleted by the user, if such a function is available,
  • for the period required by law,
  • for the period necessary to establish, exercise or defend claims.

After the applicable retention period, the data is deleted or anonymized.

8. User rights

The user has the right to:

  • access your personal data,
  • rectification of your data,
  • deletion of data,
  • restriction of processing,
  • data portability,
  • objecting to processing,
  • withdrawal of consent at any time, if processing is based on consent,
  • lodging a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

9. Data security

We exercise due diligence to protect user data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures corresponding to the nature of the processed data.

At the same time, no method of transmitting data over the Internet or method of electronic storage guarantees complete security.

10. Children's data

The application is not intended for children below the minimum age permitted under applicable law without the consent of a parent or guardian, if such consent is required. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children in violation of applicable laws.

If we become aware that a child's data has been collected unlawfully, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Cookies and website

Website  ontrestudio.pl may use cookies or similar technologies for the purpose of:

  • ensuring the proper functioning of the website,
  • analyzing website traffic,
  • improving service quality,
